"It's in the cupboard next to the fridge," he says. "Oh." He lowers the shotgun and lets out a sigh. "It's me, Mouse," Gabriel replies calmly. Suddenly, the door to Mouse's room opens, revealing Mouse in his pajamas holding a short-barreled shotgun. He turns to you and says, "I find your lack of tea…disturbing." You think to yourself, why would someone break into my apartment just to use my electric kettle? You decide to open the door, weapon drawn, and in the kitchen, you see Gabriel with an empty cup, waiting for your kettle to finish heating up. Then you hear the sound of your electric kettle being filled and heated. You can hear footsteps on the other side of the door, sounds like just one person. You stealthily reach under your pillow for your pistol before silently sliding off of your bed and walking to the door. In your sleep, your ears pick up the sound of a door opening and closing, and footsteps outside your door.
